David Lee, Vice President

David is a 20+ year veteran of the power services industry. Since graduating with an Electrical Engineering Degree from the Tennessee Technological University in 1987, he’s held a variety of positions:

• He was with the Electric Power Board of Chattanooga for 13 years as an Engineer I & II in the test section, as a Senior Engineer in the Sub-Station & Underground Department. and as a Manager of the Sub-Station & Underground Department.
• He founded Advanced Power & Lighting, which he sold in 2005. He then rejoined the company, now known as APL as Vice President of Engineering where he oversees the design and construction of all sub-station and commercial lighting projects.

David is a recognized expert in the design and installation of sub-stations and he also has his commercial pilot helicopter license to support APL’s aerial inspection projects as needed. David brings a strong customer-service attitude to every project and really knows how to manage a project so that it is completed on time and within budget. When he’s not out on the job site, David enjoys flying, motorcycles, investing and music.
